A lifelong passion for all animals
My love for animals began in childhood, guided by the belief that caring for creatures teaches empathy and respect. At age six, after sponsoring a boa constrictor named Patric at Tropiquaria, I realised I had no fear of unusual creatures. Stepping into the animal care unit at West Somerset Community College at 14 sealed my path—I knew I would spend my life understanding, protecting, and caring for domestic and exotic species alike.
Qualified experience and zookeeper standards
I hold a Level 2 in Animal Care and a Level 3 in Animal Management. Alongside volunteering with the RSPCA caring for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and birds, I worked for over two years at Doniford Farm Park managing livestock, primates, birds of prey, snakes, monitor lizards, tegus, tortoises, tarantulas, and scorpions. With over 16 years of personal experience keeping reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, I bring zoo-level husbandry and enrichment directly to your home.
